Taylor's cousin Ali turned 1 this month - and Josh and Sarah had a great party. You can see in the photos the huge playground set that Josh and Sarah have been building for the kids. It's amazing! The kids had a blast! Taylor went swinging for the first time with her dad and you can see she really liked it! The last picture is Sue with her two boys Conner and Cooper. Cooper's first birthday party is up next!
Wow - the last few months have flown by! These photos are from April when she was 7 months old. She's sitting up and playing. Not quite interested in crawling yet - but we know we have to baby proof the house ASAP! She turning blonder by the day.
I got these great shots at my soon to be cousin-in-law's wedding shower on Easter weekend. Taylor loves making her Great Grandma Mayer laugh!

This weekend Taylor and I went to our nephew Conner's 3rd Birthday Party. It was great - so many kids and everyone had a great time. Check out some of the pics. I had to document the day because Jesse was recouping from corrective eye surgery that day. He can see great now!

Since we were able to fix my car this winter and not have to buy a new one, Jesse and I decided to finish off the majority of the basement. We needed the extra bathroom and a tub and the 2 bedrooms will be nice also. I plan to move Taylor down there when it's done and we'll have a great play area in the living room. Every night after I put Taylor down I've been trying to get down there to get the painting done. Here's where we're at so far...
Above are pics of the living room. There's only one coat of paint so far - it's a warm brown and I love it.
This is part of the bathroom that will have a double sink vanity. The tub is not in yet and we have to pick up the slate this weekend and the vanity next weekend. I forgot how much goes into building!
This is the back bedroom that I just got the second coat on ~ DONE! Taylor's room is going to be the front bedroom and that will be a golden yellow color. I haven't even started that yet... but hopefully Thursday.
Yesterday we got the great news that Taylor is done wearing her helmet! She only had to wear it for 2 months! The Doc said this was a textbook case and couldn't have went better. Check out that perfect head!
