Catching Up...

I've been so bad about blogging lately - so here's a huge catch up of what we're been up to since January!

Jesse broke his leg snowmobiling January 9th. He's doing really great now - he was back to work in 3 weeks - but he still walks with a limp. He'll be able to get on his mountain bike in a few weeks - but I'll have to pull the bike stroller this year :(

He had a tib-fib break and now has an internal rod to secure his tibia. He'll be beeping at airports from now on!

Julie, Libby and I did a wine tour in Medford at the end of February. We didn't make it too far on the tour - as we passed The Lounge - we decided to head in for a Bud Light - and well - that ended up to be our last stop! But we had a lot of fun catching up.

We also ran into Jessica Werner who was back into town from NC. It was a fun night!

In February - I got a bright idea to buy a sewing machine to make blankets and curtains. Jesse wasn't really too keen on it - but I set out on my first project - a small lap quilt for Taylor. I planned it would take me a few weeks - but I cranked that thing out in 9 hours over the weekend! I'm already starting on quilt number 2 - it's a little more complicated - but it felt really great to actually make something!

The beginning of March.... At 18 months old - Taylor's hair was looking like a mess of a mullet - so I tried to put pig tails in her hair. She actually let me and has been sporting them daily since then. It really makes her look like a big girl!
