Summer Fun 2010

Here's a little peak at what we were up to this summer. A lot of fun times with family!

Holcombe is always a hit with the kids. They all loved going on the boats this year. Here's a good pic of them waiting for us to get ready. I think they'd wear those life jackets all day long if we'd let them.

Taylor and her Great Grandpa Ray - she was showing him the lake.

Driving the boat with Grandpa Tom.

First time tubing with Ali and Uncle Josh. They weren't even scared! I guess they don't know how Uncle Jason normally drives the boat :)

My Mom and Dewey had the 1st Annual Fishing Contest at their house this year. We all made it up there and the boys caught a lot of fish! Taylor and I chilled out all day and it was a lot of fun. Can't wait til next year!

Grady with his first taste of the champagne!

Nice picture with Grandma.

Uncle Steven must have had a few too many cold ones. Silly Steven - that Dora pole won't catch any fish :)

Taylor helping Grandpa Dewey cook the meat...

Or she was just stealing his supplies :)

At the Taylor County Fair - we entered Taylor in the tractor pull. She was too little to peddle - so Dad got to push her. She took first place in her age group! Good job Dad!

We also met Jason and Sue and the kids at the Clark County Fair in Neillsville. We watched some motocross and then let the kids go on a few rides. In the first picture - they were all trying to high 5 Jesse & Jason. I guess they couldn't read the sign to keep their hands inside at all times :)

Cooper and Taylor riding the train together. Conner said that was a baby ride - so he got to ride the big kid roller coaster :) But they all had a blast!

We also went to Jim Peck's. Mom was very bad at picture taking that day - but here's one of Taylor feeding her goats.

The Mayer family got together at John & Jayne's pond over Labor Day. It was so nice to see everyone! Taylor and Grady got to hang out for a while. It appears they have nothing but love for each other - but they pretty much fought over books the entire time.

This is Taylor trying to decide what to do with the biggest smore ever!

I guess I'll eat it!

Taylor Turns 2!

Today - our little munchkin turned 2! We had her party tonight and all of our family was able to join us. Taylor had such a great time opening her presents and playing with her cousins. Thanks to everyone for coming!

This first picture is from this morning - getting ready for daycare. She was already so excited it was her birthday!

Jesse's mom broke her leg a few weeks ago - so instead of one of her amazing cakes - we settled for cupcakes. I looked online and got some inspiration. Purple is Taylor's favorite color - so she loved them! Mom is also pretty happy there are left overs - because they were delicious!

We tried a few attempts at a family photo. You can tell Taylor had way more fun trying to make this NOT happen!

Singing Happy Birthday! I still can't believe she's 2!

She blew out the candle (with Dad's help) and was so excited when everyone clapped!
