Taylor and Her BFF

Taylor and Bernie are inseparable these days. In this photo sequence you can see Taylor trying to do so many things...

1) Eat a cookie
2) Put on Bernie's collar
3) Give Bernie a kiss
4) Tell Bernie a story
5) Keep Bernie away from her cookie
6) Give Bernie a hug

And Bernie is only trying to do one thing...

1) Eat Taylor's cookie

Typical Morning

The other morning Taylor was so cute ~ and these shots totally sum up every morning we have together (all 20 minutes of it). Check it out...

She always drinks her cup of milk. Ok ~ not always ~ but usually if it's Chocolate!

She has to have some snuggle time with Bernie. She's trying to have him eat pretend desserts from her tea set ~ he licks them and she thinks it's so funny!

She has snacks ~ that Bernie always tries to steal.

She gives me many looks of confusion as I run around the house trying to get ready, take care of Bernie, and get us both out the door on time.

And inevitably a tear or two always falls...

Voss Christmas 2009

Our final Christmas celebration was this past weekend in Sun Praire. My Aunt Sue and Granny were kind enough to have us all over. My best estimate puts the people count at 57! Taylor was the youngest one there ~ but managed to keep up with the big kids.

My Aunt Sue played Santa. This is about half the great grand kids ~ the others were too busy playing! Granny really enjoyed seeing them open their presents ~ and as you can see they enjoyed playing with them!

Carly got to hang out with Taylor too!

Of course Taylor found the only animal brave enough to venture out into the crowd!

Pancake Tree

The other morning Jesse was home and made pancakes for us. As you can see - there were a lot of them - and at the time it really looked like a miniature 'tree'. Taylor was proud to show off her Daddy's creation!

Christmas of 2009

Sorry for this super long post - but we had a lot of get togethers for Christmas this year. One more to go next week! Check out the madness - I mean fun! :)

Christmas #1 - Great Grandma & Grandma Klingbeil's

The little ones "played" pool and piano.

Christmas #2 - Sebold's

Before we left I got a pretty good picture of Taylor in front of our tree.

Pretty sure she at half that bowl of popcorn.

Taylor really got into delivering everyone's presents and opening them up! She even liked it when Uncle Steven taught her how to put the bows on her head.

We ended the day with the best pork crown roast ever!

Christmas #3 - Our House

Taylor just couldn't wait to open her gifts!

The doll house was a big hit!

Christmas #4 - Klingbeil's

One of the only pics that turned out with all the kids was Conner holding Taylor.

The little one's went for a ride in G&G's new hammock swing.

Aunt Callie will definitely be jealous --- all 3 little kids got these amazing Radio Flyer Horses that make noises and play songs while they're being ridden. They had a blast racing each other!

Finally - we did manage to get one picture of the 3 of us.

Taylor's New Hobby

Taylor recently discovered the piano... and can't get enough of it. She'll play for 20 minutes! When we're done - I'm trying to teach her to bow - but she's too mad because she just wants to keep playing! Grandma Dani is going to have to start lessons with her!

Halloween

We forgot our camera today for the Halloween Parade - but I got a few shots of Taylor in her dragon costume. The last photo shows the dragon in her lair ~ she can't get enough of the dog crate - and always plays with her toys in there!

Taylor Turns 1!

I found this cake online and let Jesse's mom know that something like this would be cute for Taylor's birthday...

Little did I know she's top it!  Check out Taylor's cake!  Thanks so much Marsha - I can't believe how awesome it turned out.

Taylor really enjoyed it!

Earlier in the day - she found Uncle Jake and Aunt Callie's present - and shared it with Bernie before I caught her.  She thought it was very funny!
